The Rotary Club of Marysville gave a grant for $12,000 to buy 4,000 backpacks and school supplies to fill them for Yuba County students. On Friday, August 2, 2024, several Rotarians even volunteered to distribute the backpacks at a huge event in downtown Marysville. The partnership with the Marysville Unified School District and several other organizations drew a large crowd to get not only backpacks and supplies, but haircuts and dental checkups and much more. We are honored to be able to support our community through projects like this.
