The Marysville Rotary Club was voted Best Service Club, and our premiere fundraiser, Sodbuster's, was voted the area's Favorite Event, in The Appeal-Democrat's "Best of Yuba-Sutter" competition. Awards were announced in October.
"On behalf our club members, we are humbled by those who through their vote recognized the many community causes we support, not to mention the fun we have doing it," said Club President Matt Peyret. "Our community has many fine service clubs, all of which perform amazing works. To be held as an example of "The Best" is an honor we don't take lightly. And it is a title we will work hard to maintain."
