With a big turnout of club members, the set up coordinated by Nicole Rosser was a success.

The Marysville Rotary Club's Sodbuster's event, now known as Yuba-Sutter's Favorite Event thanks to those who voted in the Appeal-Democrat's "Best of Yuba-Sutter" competition, was wildly successful. The sell out crowd enjoyed a nearly flawless presentation on a beautiful night on September 19, thanks to the leadership of event Chair Nicole Rosser, and a tremendous response by the Club to the needs of setting up the event behind Cotton Rosser arena along the Feather River in Marysville's Beckwourth Riverfront Park.

While the final tally is still underway, the event is a financial success as well. It was clear from the enthusiasm of the evening that people were very willing to support Yuba-Sutter Special Olympics and to just have a darn good time doing it.
How did they feed that many people so quickly? The cooking and preparation of the food line was flawless. Randie Marr's chili was quite popular.

Obligatory picture of Mary Langsdorf's bar!

T.J. Fetters, Director of Yuba-Sutter Special Olympics, thanked the more than 800 in attendance for their support of the program that provides opportunities for athletic competition for those with developmental disabilities. There are more than 200 Special Olympics members in the Yuba-Sutter area.

The Left Of Center band had them dancing.

Red Bull was a mixer at the bar, but not sure who tried to mix with the Red Eyed Bull...
